The Death of the “Child” Posted on July 10th, 2009
Michael Jackson’s recent death is symbolic on many levels. Could it be that the archetypical Jackson represents the child in all of us?
Jackson was a child super star a creative genius and yet for all his obvious talents, he appeared to be a lost soul. The “Inner Child” if left untamed can rob us of our energy, our optimism, our creative gifts and our future. Cosmetic surgery, prescription drug abuse, addictive behaviors and fears of all kinds are often reflective of the lost inner child.
With Jackson’s passing, let us consider that it is time to leave the pain of the “inner child” behind. Can we grow up and move forward from Neverland into adult hood, claiming our power and potential? Yes we can still retain the curiosity of the child but combine it with the wisdom and insight of maturity. These two elements form our true divine nature and the unfolding of our lives
Letting go of the past has many rewards. There is always a gift as we release and surrender the perceptions of the past – more energy, more insight, more spiritual connectedness.

Michael needed someone to heal his past. He was stuck in his childhood and he couldn’t cope with adulthood. Being a child it was too scary for him.The harsh world and critics never understood him. He was a soul crying out for help and we failed him.
