That’s the Universe! Posted on July 9th, 2012

If you have ever wondered how the universe works and you believe in “signs” the movie, Jeff, Who Still Lives at Home, will give you a clue about the inner-workings of Universal principles. I had just finished teaching a training in Medical Intuition in Upstate New York, and I was staying at the Hilton Hotel. I was awakened at six o’clock in the morning with an announcement from United Airlines that my flight had been delayed. Not wanting to give up my first class ticket, I threw on some clothes and hurried over to the Buffalo airport to secure another travel option. The agent was very helpful and soon I was on my way, first class with Delta Airlines. As I settled in to my seat and the plane took off, I perused the movie selection – nothing. A war movie, two CIA movies, one Sci-Fi movie and an odd title called Jeff, Who Still Lived at Home. I took a chance. I could have written blogs or pulled out my Kindle, but as the Universe would have it, this movie turned out to be more than just entertainment.  The movie is about a misunderstood, slightly adrift young man, who follows a clue and ultimately ends up saving a man’s life. The whole story starts out with a request by Jeff’s mother played by Susan Sarandon, to go and pick up a tube of wood glue. However a series of comedic and unexpected events, leads Jeff to cross paths with his family in the strangest of locations and circumstances.  If you can’t quite figure out what you are supposed to be doing, there’s a reason. If you think you are adrift and going nowhere, there is also a reason. Just like Jeff, the hand of destiny is at work if you pay attention to the signs.
