I feel very grateful for the people that I know. I have
always felt that whatever I need will come to me and what ever
I need to know will be revealed to me.
I am blessed to know about a number of good practitioners
who can help you if you have been given a diagnosis of cancer.
Despite the "war on cancer" and all the fun runs and the
lapel ribbons, cancer statistics are higher than ever.
A cancer diagnosis would be scary for anyone and coming
from the daughter of a medical doctor, I would always say that
the healing of any disease is a marriage of traditional and
non-traditional approaches. At such a time it is necessary to
examine your options and seek treatment that makes sense to
you.
You might be interested in a form of treatment that has
been around for over 30 years called Insulin Potentiation
Therapy or low-dose chemotherapy without side effects.
Take a look at www.iptq.org
and learn about this exciting treatment.
You might also be interested in the work of Dr. Nicholas
Gonzales in New York, whose ground- breaking work with
pancreatic cancer and other cancers involves the use of large
doses of digestive enzymes. Visit his webiste and view the
video.

latest Townsend Letter documents his innovative
treatments and research

Gonzales is in the August/September 2008 issue.
Another clinic in Germany offers treatment using heat
which is thought to drive out cancer from the body. Some
alternative practitioners believe that hot flashes actually
protect a woman from cancer and perhaps seeking treatments to
alleviate them may be counterproductive?
There are many treatments and many drugs that are designed
to treat cancer. The best ally in your treatment is yourself,
your doctor and your alternative practitioner.
Breast cancer, for example, involving a lump is usually
estrogen fueled. So detoxifying estrogen is an
important component of taking care of excess estrogen. This
can be done with liver detoxification, using DIM, a
cruciferous extract that detoxifies estrogen, turmeric, an
Indian spice and green tea extract.
On a dietary level, it is necessary to minimize sugars
because cancer cells are glucose supported. Any fast
growing cell needs sugar to live. So reduce sugars in all
forms - even fruit and fruit juice.
I also advocate the use of Pau D'Arco tea a potent anti-
fungal tea which has been known to be useful in the treatment
of cancer. Along with all of this, do your best to detoxify
the body by eliminating caffeine and junk food. Eat well, rest
and allow your body to heal.
On the emotional level, all diseases have an
emotional component. Examine the emotions and stressors that
could be in behind your diagnosis.
Learn a simple form of meditation so that you can get in
touch with the inner healer which will guide you to new levels
of insight, helpful life-style changes and the correct
alternative treatments.
Remember big pharma does not want to win the war on
cancer. There is just too much money involved in the
"business" of cancer.
Next shift the energy. Release the negative, old
energy that you are storing in your body. Take a look at
energy healing. People are impressed with Matrix
Energetics a program which shows people how to get in
touch with the healing power within.
In summary, I do not believe that people are destined to
die from cancer. Usually they not only survive but thrive
through this disease.
Cancer is a disease of degeneration and breakdown. Look at
our world which is now full of chemicals and pollutants. A
diagnosis of cancer or any other serious illness usually
propels people to mobilize and review their lives and to
re-set priorities. Often this can lead to using the experience
as a deep healing and something positive.

Keys for Staying Out of the Cancer Zone These salient
points which has been adapted and modified come from a
well-known medical school.
1. From time to time every person has cancer cells in their
body. These cancer cells may not appear in standard medical
tests until they are detectable. Following cancer treatment a
patient may be told that there is no more detectable cancer
and that he or she is in remission, this term applies to
detectable cancer. Undetected cancer cells could still exist
in the body.
2. Cancer cells may occur several times during a person's
life. Usually these abnormal cells are engulfed by the immune
system and destroyed through the process of apoptosis or
natural cell death. This prevents for cancer cells from
multiplying or forming tumors.
4. Cancer is a multi faceted disease. A cancer diagnosis
points to nutritional deficiencies, food intolerances, yeast
overgrowth, environmental issues, stress, hormonal imbalances,
genetic and lifestyle factors which all influence the growth
of cancers.
5. Cancer treatment should include stress reduction,
dietary changes, lifestyle modifications and specific immune
building supplementation both traditional and non-traditional
treatments.
6. The favored traditional cancer treatment is
chemotherapy. This treatment is designed to destroy
fast-growing cancer cells but it can also affect healthy cells
and may cause damage to organs and systems.
7. Radiation treatments are designed to destroy cancer
cells. Radiation can burn, scar and damage healthy cells,
tissues and organs. Hyperbaric oxygen which is a treatment to
increase the transportation of oxygen in the blood and improve
white blood cell activity can be useful for healing after the
effects of chemotherapy.
Something interesting to note: On the subject of
chemotherapy, I'd like to introduce you to an innovative form
of cancer treatment called Insulin Potentiation Therapy or
I.T.P. www.ipt.org that bears investigating. Cancer patients
are given low dose chemotherapy, with minimal side effects,
and insulin to balance erratic blood sugar levels. Patients
are said to immediately feel better with more energy due to
their stabilized blood sugar. Several of my clients have
undergone I.P.T. with very favorable results. As an important
strategy to stay out of the cancer zone, I.P.T. patients are
encouraged to stay away from sugar and to do their
all-important forgiveness work.
8. Initial cancer treatment with chemotherapy and radiation
may often reduce tumor size. Prolonged use of these treatments
may result in tumor reoccurrence in other areas of the body or
cancer cell proliferation due to toxicity or the body's
weakened defense mechanisms.
9. Toxic load from either chemotherapy or radiation affects
the immune system and may expose cancer patient to
complications or infections.
10. Cancer cells can become resistant to treatment or as
the result of surgery, cancer cells can to spread to other pat
of the body.
11. Cancer cells are glucose supported. An effective
defense against cancer cell proliferation is to starve the
cells by decreasing sugars in all forms and avoid milk product
consumption which is mucous forming.
